Beckman Coulter Flow Cytometry Reference Laboratory
The Flow Cytometry Reference Laboratory was established as an integral part of the Flow Cytometry Laboratory within the Department of Experimental Immunotherapy.
In collaboration with Beckman Coulter, a global leader in the life sciences and healthcare sector, the laboratory supports both scientific research and educational activities, including training for professionals in the health sciences.
Our primary mission is to conduct cutting-edge research in flow cytometry, supported by advanced instrumentation and a team of qualified experts. We provide comprehensive support in experimental design, implementation, and data analysis.
Together with our industry partner, we develop novel applications and solutions that enhance the performance, quality, and efficiency of flow cytometry laboratories, tailored to the specific needs of our collaborators and clients.
We also offer presentations, hands-on training, and expert workshops in the field of flow cytometry, as well as specialist consultations for researchers and laboratory personnel.
Equipment
CytoFLEX SRT Cell Sorter
Cell sorter equipped with 4 lasers: 405 nm, 488 nm, 561 nm, 638 nm (V5-B2-Y5-R3) that provide up to 15-color detection. The instrument also supports violet laser-based side scatter detection (VSSC). Options include 4-way sorting into tubes and 1-way sorting onto slides and into plates (6-, 24-, 48-, 96- and 384-well plates).

CytoFLEX S Flow Cytometer
Flow cytometer equipped with 4 lasers: 405 nm, 488 nm, 561 nm, 638 nm (V4-B2-Y4-R3) and 13 channels for fluorescence detection.

DxFLEX Flow Cytometer
The DxFlex is a clinical analyser equipped with 3 lasers: 405 nm, 488 nm, 638 nm (V5-B5-R3), 13 channels for fluorescence detection and an Autoloader module which accepts a standard 32-tube carousel.
