During the 26th Congress of the Polish Parasitological Society, held on 8–12 September 2025 in Gdańsk, Dr Marta Maruszewska-Cheruiyot received the First Witold Stefański Prize, awarded by the Main Board of the Polish Parasitological Society to young researchers for outstanding scientific achievements.
The award was granted for a series of publications devoted to immunological aspects of parasitic infections.
