Scientific profile
A graduate of the Faculty of Biology at the University of Warsaw, where she earned her PhD with distinction in 2018. Between 2009 and 2014, she worked as a junior assistant at the Department of Microbiology and Serology at the Institute of Rheumatology in Warsaw, gaining experience in laboratory diagnostics.
She has been engaged for many years in scientific research in the fields of immunology and immunoparasitology, with a particular focus on the development of novel clinical therapies for allergic, autoimmune, neurodegenerative, and oncological diseases. A cell biologist by training, she has extensive experience in immunological, proteomic, and genetic techniques. She specializes in multicolour flow cytometry and cell sorting.
She has been awarded scholarships co-financed by the European Union, including Doctorates for Mazovia and Development of Science – Development of the Region – Scholarships and Support for Mazovian Doctoral Students. She has served as principal investigator and lead researcher in projects funded by the National Science Centre (NCN), Foundation for Polish Science (FNP), and Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSzW).
She is the author of numerous peer-reviewed publications in journals indexed on the Philadelphia list and has presented her work at multiple national and international conferences. She previously directed the Flow Cytometry Laboratory at the Department of Immunology, Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw, as well as at the Military Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology in Warsaw.
Currently Assistant Professor in the Department of Experimental Immunotherapy. Post-doc in the OPUS 24 project No. 2022/47/B/NZ7/02729 ‘Potential of Th cell profiling in personalized multiple sclerosis treatment planning’. Coordinator of the Beckman Coulter Flow Cytometry Reference Laboratory.
